•The combined market capitalization of the PFC Energy 50 increased 45% to top $5 trillion, the largest jump in the lists history.

•Much of this value increase reflects the declining US dollar. Royal Dutch Shells share price, for instance, rose 19% in dollar terms, but only 8% in Euros.
